Margrét H. Blöndal inher second show at the gallery, entitled‘Hemiola’, presentsa series of drawings created in the last year and a site-specific installation. Hemiola, from the Greek “hemiolios,” meaning “containing one and a half,” is a term used in music to describe a rhythmic pattern of syncopated beats with two beats in the time of three or three beats in the time of two.
