Saturday 4 December 2004 the exhibition of drawings and sculptures by Giovanni Rizzoli opens at the Alessandra Bonomo Gallery. Giovanni Rizzoli’s drawings, rather than describe or represent, are diagrams of moods, radiographs that somehow stop an emotion or an evocation that would have no way of existing otherwise. The sculptures are often created directly in wax so that the final result is apparently soft.
