Alighiero e Boetti, Dru Gu Choegyal, Acharya Viakul
15 may 2006

On Monday 15 May the exhibition of the three artists Alighiero and Boetti, Dru Gu Choegyal Rinpoche and Acharya Viakul opens at the Galleria Alessandra Bonomo. The artist, in Tantric art, always knows what he is going to do before doing it. This is a connection that is evident from the work of these three artists. Three masters in different ways linked to the East, where they worked and lived. Alighiero Boetti had a strong connection with Afghanistan, Acharya Viakul born and lived in Jaypur in India, and Dru-gu Choegyal Rinpoche born in Tibet, lives between India and Nepal. In their works, a certain repetitiveness of the concept and construction of the painting is evident, which means that the artist has to deal with the same image, or with the same composition several times.
