“BARS IN BLACK, WHITE AND GRAYS”
12 february 2003
From February 12, 2003, the exhibition by the American artist Sol Lewitt (Hartford, 1928) opens at the Bonomo Gallery. In the late 1960s, Sol Lewitt established himself internationally as the leading representative of conceptual art. Throughout the last few years, those who have followed his work can say that they have seen countless styles change, of course all strictly corresponding to each other. The works, sometimes strictly geometric, sometimes denying geometry, in any case always revolve around the same initial concept, surprising the viewer each time with imagination and freedom of expression.
