“Tell me more”
14 october 2020
Galleria Alessandra Bonomo announces “Tell me more”, an exhibition starring two artists – Sabina Mirri and Verde Edrev – and will be open from next 14 October 2020. Sabina Mirri’s Gonna be a cult character exhibition will be renewed with the addition of new collages in tissue paper, characterized by the ambiguous presence of a humanized hare and other subjects. A large installation in the center of the room materializes the famous Studiolo that appears in Antonello da Messina’s San Girolamo. The enchantment felt in the presence of the masterpiece gave rise to the artist’s desire to represent the environment in a monumental and modern form. Thus was born a usable sculpture, an apparatus capable of fermenting thoughts and ideas: the artist’s workshop, the laboratory for conceiving projects and devising solutions. The Studiolo also becomes a “device vehicle” capable of activating and transforming itself thanks to the presence of works by other artists.
