The exhibition by the English artist David Tremlett opens on 31 October at the Galleria Alessandra Bonomo. In this exhibition David Tremlett presents a series of pastels and a wall drawing made for the occasion. The English artist returns to Rome choosing simple shapes and bright colors, in the name of constant and tireless research, personal as well as artistic. After Hamish Fulton, another exceptional traveler, but the baggage that Tremlett brings back on his return from his explorations is a visual baggage, made up of lines, shapes, colors. The space echoes primordial sounds, melodies from distant countries, so experienced, so reinterpreted as to sound unrecognizable in the simple complexity of the artist’s pictorial elaborations.
